WordsOut End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: February 20, 2026

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("WordsOut," "we," "us," or "our") for use of the WordsOut mobile application and related updates, features, and documentation (the "App").

By installing or using the App, you agree to this EULA.

1. License Grant

Subject to this EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. License Restrictions

You may not:

• copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, except where law permits despite this limitation;
• rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App;
• remove or alter proprietary notices;
• use the App in violation of law or third-party rights.

3. Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights.

4. Updates and Changes

We may provide updates, patches, fixes, or new features. Updates may be required for continued use of some or all App functionality.

5. Purchases and Digital Content

The App may offer optional paid features or digital content. Purchases are processed by your platform provider (such as Apple App Store or Google Play) and governed by that provider's billing and refund rules.

6. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated.

It terminates automatically if you violate this EULA. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies in your possession or control.

7. Third-Party Services and Terms

The App may interact with third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by those third parties' terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORDSOUT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

10. Export and Legal Compliance

You represent that you are not located in, or a resident of, any country subject to applicable embargoes, and that you are not on any prohibited or restricted party list.

11. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of [STATE/COUNTRY], without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies.

12. Platform-Specific Terms (Apple iOS)

If you obtained the App from Apple's App Store, you acknowledge:

• this EULA is between you and WordsOut, not Apple;
• Apple is not responsible for the App or its support/maintenance;
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance and support services;
• Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the App, except as required by law;
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA and may enforce it.
